Legal & Policies

Privacy Policy

My Bid Day respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect. We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the details you share when you fill out a readiness assessment, book a service, or communicate with us. When you purchase a service, payment information is collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor, and we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves. We also automatically collect general usage information through cookies and Google Analytics, including your device type, browser, pages visited, and how you arrived at our site.

How we use your information. We use your information to provide and personalize our services, communicate with you about your enrollment and preparation, process payments, respond to your questions, improve our website and offerings, and send updates you have agreed to receive. We do not sell your personal information.

Information about minors. Many recruitment participants are between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. When a participant is under eighteen, we require that a parent or legal guardian be the person who enrolls, provides consent, and is responsible for payment. The parent or guardian consents to our collection and use of the participant's information for the purpose of providing the services. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under thirteen. If you believe a child under thirteen has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

How we share information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate, such as Stripe for payments, Google for analytics, and the tools we use to schedule sessions and communicate with you. These providers may use your information only to perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and your choices. Our website uses cookies to operate, personalize your experience, and understand site usage. You can decline optional cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics through Google's own tools. Some cookies are necessary for the site to function and cannot be turned off.

Data retention and security. We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and operational requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact us at info@mybidday.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated last-updated date.

Refund Policy

Because our services involve personalized preparation and scheduled mentor time, the following terms apply to all purchases.

Before services begin. If you cancel within one day of purchase and before any coaching session has taken place or any personalized materials have been delivered, you are entitled to a full refund.

After services begin. Once coaching has started or personalized materials have been delivered, fees are non-refundable, because the work and preparation have already been performed. If you have purchased a multi-session package, we will refund the prorated value of any sessions not yet used, at our discretion and on request.

Rescheduling and missed sessions. Individual sessions may be rescheduled once at no charge with at least twenty-four hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited and not eligible for rescheduling or refund.

How to request a refund. To request a refund under this policy, email us at hello@mybidday.com with your name and order details. Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method.

Disclaimers

My Bid Day provides coaching, preparation, and guidance for sorority recruitment. Our services are advisory and educational in nature.

No guarantee of a bid or any outcome. This is the most important thing to understand about what we do. Sorority recruitment decisions are made entirely by individual chapters and the Panhellenic process. We have no influence over those decisions and no affiliation with any sorority, chapter, university, or the National Panhellenic Conference. We do not guarantee that any participant will receive a bid, be matched with a preferred chapter, or achieve any particular result. What we offer is preparation and readiness support, not a promised outcome, and our fees pay for the coaching and materials we provide, not for any result.

Not affiliated with any sorority or university. My Bid Day is an independent company. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any sorority, fraternity, college, university, or governing recruitment body. Any references to specific organizations or campuses are for informational purposes only.

Individual results vary. Every participant's recruitment experience is different, and any examples, testimonials, or stories we share reflect individual experiences rather than a guarantee of what you will experience.

Not professional advice. Our coaching is general preparation guidance and is not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, legal, or financial advice. If you need support of that kind, please consult a qualified professional.
